Where Everything Lives: Agency AI in Shopify vs the Advanced Dashboard

Two surfaces, one account. The embedded app inside your Shopify admin handles daily work: Home stats, the AI Strategist, creating and managing ads. The AI Dashboard, opened with the button at the top right of the app (or at dashboard.agencyai.app), adds Performance, Growth Plays with one-click apply, Reports, the full AI Strategist page with history, and light or dark mode. The Claude and ChatGPT connector runs on the same data from wherever you already work.
Agency AI in Shopify (the embedded app)
Shopify admin → Apps → Agency AI.
Home. Stats at the top (Total Sales, Total Orders, AOV, Ad Spend, ROAS, MER, each with a trend and comparison period), then the AI Strategist module, then Ad Performance Recommendations from the last 7 days. During onboarding, the connect rows and questionnaire sit here too, and later the Launch Ads button.
Manage Ads. Meta and Google campaigns, ad sets, asset groups and ads: budgets, status, names. Where you apply Meta recommendations in the app.
Create Ad. Build Meta and Google ads. How to create ads.
Asset Library. Every image you've uploaded or generated.
Brand Info. Your brand profile, currency, AI output language and break-even ROAS. Everything Agency AI writes comes from here.

Click AI Dashboard top right, or sign in with Shopify at dashboard.agencyai.app.
Home. The AI Strategist composer front and center, plus stats.
Performance. Charts over time, platform split, comparisons.
Growth Plays. Recommendations with Apply for both Google and Meta.
Manage Ads, Create Ad, Asset Library, Brand Info: same as the app, dark or light theme.
AI Strategist. The full page with chat history, and where the Strategist carries out launches, pauses and budget moves on your approval.

Which to use
App for daily work inside Shopify. AI Dashboard to dig into numbers, apply Meta recommendations, run reports, or when you'd rather work in a full browser tab. Claude or ChatGPT when you're already there and want to ask or act without opening either.
