How Do I Cancel Agency AI? (And What Happens to My Campaigns)

Quick answer

Shopify app: uninstall Agency AI from your Shopify admin. MCP plan: console → Billing → Manage billing → Cancel. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Your campaigns keep running either way. They live in your own Meta and Google Ads accounts, not inside Agency AI.

What happens to your campaigns

Nothing is paused, deleted or removed. Agency AI stops managing and optimizing them. Creatives, audiences, ad history and performance data all stay in your ad accounts, which you own. If you want the ads to stop, pause them in Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads.

Cancel the Shopify app (Essentials)

1. Shopify admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels
2. Find Agency AI
3. Click Uninstall

Billing stops immediately. Agency AI bills through Shopify, so there's nothing to cancel with us. Uninstall before day 30 of the trial and you're never charged.

Cancel the MCP plan

1. Sign in at dashboard.agencyai.app/sign-in
2. Billing → Manage billing (opens the Stripe portal)
3. Cancel plan

You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Cancelling during the 14-day trial means no charge. To delete the account itself, use Account → Close account.

Disconnecting without cancelling

To stop Agency AI from touching one channel only, go to Settings (app) or Connections (console) and click Disconnect Meta Account or Disconnect Google Ads Account. This removes the stored access tokens. Your subscription continues.

Will I get a refund?

Essentials charges are processed by Shopify on a 30-day cycle; MCP plan charges by Stripe. If you believe you were billed in error, email hello@agencyai.app.

If you reinstall later

Reinstalling requires re-authorizing your Meta and Google connections. See Reconnecting Meta After Uninstalling and Reinstalling. Your ad accounts and campaign history are unaffected. Note that an MCP plan cancelled and restarted later is billed at the then-current price, not founder pricing.
