How to Cancel Your Agency AI Subscription

Overview

You can cancel your Agency AI subscription at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store. This guide explains the cancellation process, what happens to your data, and what to expect after uninstalling.

How to Cancel

Agency AI is managed as a Shopify app, so cancellation is handled through your Shopify admin:

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Apps and Sales Channels (or click Apps in the left sidebar).
  3. Find Agency AI in your list of installed apps.
  4. Click on Agency AI, then click Uninstall (or click the trash icon next to the app).
  5. Shopify will ask you to confirm the uninstallation. Confirm to proceed.

Once uninstalled, your Agency AI subscription is cancelled and you will not be billed going forward.

What Happens When You Cancel

Billing stops immediately. Shopify handles all billing for Agency AI. Once the app is uninstalled, no further charges will be applied. If you're within your free trial period, uninstalling before the trial ends means you'll never be charged.

Your Meta Ad Account is unaffected. Cancelling Agency AI does not delete or modify your Meta Ad Account, Pixel, or any other Meta assets. Any campaigns currently running in your Meta Ad Account will continue to run unless you pause or delete them manually through Meta Ads Manager.

Agency AI loses access to your Meta account. Once uninstalled, Agency AI can no longer manage or access your Meta advertising assets. If you want to revoke permissions explicitly, you can also remove Agency AI from Facebook Settings > Business Integrations.

Your data within Agency AI is removed. Any configurations, optimization settings, or preferences you set within Agency AI will be cleared. If you reinstall in the future, you'll go through the setup process again.

Pausing Instead of Cancelling

At this time, Agency AI does not offer a "pause" option separate from uninstalling. If you're considering cancelling due to a technical issue, we'd encourage you to contact our support team first. We may be able to resolve the issue and extend your trial so you can experience the full value of the platform.

Requesting a Refund

If you've been charged and believe the charge was made in error — for example, if you were billed during what should have been a free trial — contact our support team with your Shopify store URL and the charge details. We'll review your account and process a refund if applicable.

Reinstalling Later

If you decide to come back, you can reinstall Agency AI from the Shopify App Store at any time. You'll need to go through the setup process again, including reconnecting your Meta account. See our guide: Reconnecting Meta After Uninstalling and Reinstalling Agency AI.
