How Do I Cancel Agency AI? (And What Happens to My Campaigns)

Quick answer

Shopify app (Essentials): uninstall Agency AI from your Shopify admin. MCP plan: in your MCP console, open Billing > Manage billing and cancel. No contracts, no cancellation fees.

Your campaigns keep running either way. They live in your own Meta and Google Ads accounts, not inside Agency AI.

What happens to your campaigns

Nothing is paused, deleted or removed. Agency AI stops managing them. Creatives, audiences, ad history and results all stay in your ad accounts, which you own.

Want the ads to stop too? Do it before you uninstall: message your AI Strategist, for example "Pause all my Agency campaigns", and click Approve on the card. Or switch them to Paused in Manage ads, or pause them in Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads.

Cancel the Shopify app (Essentials)

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.
2. Find Agency AI.
3. Click Uninstall.

Agency AI bills through Shopify, so uninstalling ends your subscription. There's nothing else to cancel with us. Uninstall before day 30 of your trial and you're never charged.

Cancel the MCP plan

1. Sign in at dashboard.agencyai.app/sign-in.
2. Open Billing, then click Manage billing. Stripe's billing portal opens.
3. Cancel your plan there.

You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Cancel during the 14-day trial and you're never charged.

To delete the account itself, open Account > Close account. That cancels your plan and drops your connections too.

Disconnecting without cancelling

To stop Agency AI working on one platform only, open Settings in the app and click Disconnect Meta Account or Disconnect Google Ads Account. On the MCP plan, use Connections in your console. This removes the stored access tokens. Your subscription continues.

Will I get a refund?

Essentials charges are processed by Shopify on its 30-day cycle; MCP plan charges by Stripe. If you think you were billed in error, email hello@agencyai.app.

Founder pricing if you come back later

Essentials: founder pricing ($59/month) runs until December 2026. Uninstalling ends your subscription, so a reinstall after founder pricing ends is billed at the price at that time.

MCP plan: founder pricing stays locked only while you're subscribed. Cancel and restart later and you pay the price at that time.

If you reinstall later

You'll connect Meta and Google again. See Reconnecting Meta After Uninstalling and Reinstalling Agency AI. Your ad accounts and campaign history are unaffected.
