How to Track Ad Performance in Agency AI
Quick answer
Manage Ads is where you watch and change your Meta and Google campaigns from inside Agency AI: budgets, status, names, all synced to the platforms in real time. In the AI Dashboard, Performance adds charts and comparisons and Reports gives you exportable summaries. For plain-English answers ("what's my best ad?") ask the AI Strategist.
Manage Ads
Tabs for Campaigns, Ad Sets and Ads on Meta, and campaigns and asset groups on Google. Each level shows Budget, Cost, Revenue, ROAS and CPM for the period in the date filter (Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, custom). Click any column header to sort. Refresh pulls the latest data on demand.
All figures are in your brand currency. Budgets show in the ad account's billing currency. See Currencies.
Change things without leaving Agency AI:
- Budget: edit daily budgets inline. Changes over 20% restart the learning phase, so step up gradually.
- Status: toggle campaigns, ad sets, asset groups and ads between Active and Paused. Keep only Agency-managed campaigns active to avoid audience overlap (promoted posts excepted).
- Names: rename inline.
Bringing existing campaigns into Agency AI
Campaigns or ad sets you created in Ads Manager become selectable in Create Ad once the word Agency is in their name. Rename them on Manage Ads. Ad sets created in Ads Manager with a product set attached accept catalog creative only; to add image or video ads, create a new ad set through Agency AI.
Performance (AI Dashboard)
Spend, revenue, ROAS, MER, orders and new-customer ROAS over time, with period-over-period comparison and platform split. Use it to see trend, not just totals.
Reports (AI Dashboard)
Summaries you can share: performance by platform and campaign for a chosen period. For a written narrative, ask the AI Strategist or the connector in Claude or ChatGPT to "write a weekly performance summary I can send to my team", or schedule it.
Home stats
The Stats card on the app Home shows Total Sales, Total Orders, AOV, Ad Spend, ROAS and MER with trend lines and a comparison period. Sales and orders come from Shopify, so ROAS here is blended and won't match platform-reported ROAS. Why: Why your numbers don't match.
Tips
- Check Growth Plays before changing anything. It's already watching the last 7 days.
- Don't judge an ad in its first 7 days.
- Sort the Ads tab by ROAS with a 30-day window to find what to scale and what to cut.
