Setting Up Your Brand Page

Quick answer

The Brand page holds everything Agency AI knows about your business. Every headline it writes and every creative it generates comes from here. It's prefilled from your onboarding questionnaire. Nothing saves until you click Update Brand Info.

Why it matters more than anything else

Agency AI doesn't guess at your brand. It reads the Brand page and generates from it. The page says so itself: your Brand info powers every ad Agency AI creates.

If you've ever looked at AI-generated ad copy and thought "this doesn't sound like us," the Brand page is where you fix it. Not the ad.

Brand Visuals

Your logo and colors appear in every ad creative Agency AI generates.

Brand logo. Click Replace to swap it. Use a transparent PNG. A logo with a baked-in white background will look wrong on every creative that isn't white.

Primary and Secondary color. Two hex values.

Auto-apply to creatives. When checked, Agency AI uses your primary and secondary colors in all AI-generated ads automatically. When unchecked, the AI picks colors that suit the image it's making.

Which one you want depends on your brand. If your colors are distinctive and central to how people recognize you, turn auto-apply on. If your primary and secondary are black and white — common for apparel brands — auto-apply constrains the AI without adding recognition. Leave it off and let Creative Style do the work instead. [CONFIRM: is auto-apply on or off by default for new merchants?]

Industry

A dropdown. This selects which best-practice playbook Agency AI applies. Spend tiers, expected AOV, and buying behavior are all calibrated per vertical.

Pick the closest match. Getting this wrong doesn't produce an error, it quietly miscalibrates every recommendation you'll ever see. [CONFIRM: how many options, and list them.]

Tone of Voice

A dropdown. How your brand speaks. "Playful & Energetic" produces very different copy from "Professional & Confident." [CONFIRM: list the full set of options.]

Brand Summary

Up to 850 characters. Your story, your products, what makes them different. A See Example link sits above the field if you want a model to work from.

Write it the way you'd explain your brand to a smart stranger. Specifics beat adjectives. "Hand-crafted all-over-print festival apparel, made to order in the USA with recycled micro-polyester and biodegradable inks" gives the AI something to write with. "High-quality unique clothing" gives it nothing.

Include your brand values explicitly. The AI will reach for them.

Target Customer Base

Up to 850 characters. Demographics, lifestyle interests, purchasing patterns, what motivates the buy, and how they discover brands like yours. A See Example link is available here too.

Motivation matters more than demographics. "Deeply embedded in EDM culture, attends EDC and Coachella, values self-expression and sustainable fashion, discovers brands through Instagram and peer recommendation" is useful. "Ages 18–35" is not.

Value Propositions

Up to 500 characters. One per line. These get featured prominently in AI-generated ad copy, so they are the raw material for your headlines.

Each one should be a claim a customer cares about, not a feature you're proud of. Concrete and verifiable: Free shipping on US orders $75+. 30-day returns. Made in America. Eco-friendly materials.

You have 500 characters. Four to six sharp lines beats ten vague ones.

Break-even ROAS

The return on ad spend at which your ads cover their costs. Agency AI uses this as context whenever it generates a performance recommendation.

This is a single number and it matters enormously. See Where Your Break-even ROAS and Target ROAS Come From.

Saving

Click Update Brand Info. Changes affect newly generated copy and creative. They do not rewrite ads that are already live.

When to update

  • You launch a new product category
  • Your positioning or brand voice changes
  • Your ad copy stops sounding like you
  • Your margin shifts, which moves your break-even ROAS
  • You rebrand, which changes logo and colors
