Understanding Your Free Trial & Billing Cycle
Quick answer
Essentials (Shopify app): 30-day free trial from the day you install, no card, full access. Billing starts on day 31 through Shopify if the app is still installed. MCP plan: 14-day free trial, card at signup, billed through Stripe on day 15. Cancel before the trial ends on either plan and you're never charged.
Essentials trial
Starts automatically when you install from the Shopify App Store. Full access to everything: Meta and Google ad creation, Manage Ads, Growth Plays, AI Design Studio, AI Strategist, the Claude and ChatGPT connector. No card is charged. Shopify may ask for a payment method on file as part of its standard app install; you're not billed until the trial ends, and only if the app is still installed.
Your remaining trial days show in the app.
If a Meta or Google review blocks you for part of the trial, email hello@agencyai.app and we'll extend it.
Essentials billing
Billing begins when the trial expires, provided Agency AI is still installed. Charges run through Shopify's app billing and appear on your regular Shopify invoice, every 30 days from the day the trial ended. Annual is $492 billed once a year. View charges under Shopify admin → Settings → Billing.
MCP plan trial
Starts at signup. You enter a card, and Stripe charges nothing until day 15. Full access to the connector and the Analytics Dashboard during the trial. Cancel from Billing → Manage billing before day 15 and no charge is made.
MCP plan billing
Stripe charges $9 monthly or $79 yearly, starting the day the trial ends. Invoices, card updates and plan changes are all in Billing → Manage billing in the console.
