Understanding Your Free Trial & Billing Cycle

Agency AI offers a free trial so you can experience the platform and launch your first campaigns before committing to a paid subscription. This guide explains how the trial works, when billing begins, and what to expect.

How the Free Trial Works

When you install Agency AI from the Shopify App Store, your free trial begins automatically. During the trial period, you have full access to all Agency AI features, including Meta ad campaign creation, optimization, and performance tracking.

No credit card is charged during the trial. Shopify may require a payment method on file as part of their standard app installation process, but you will not be billed until the trial period ends and only if you choose to keep the app installed.

When Does Billing Start?

Billing begins automatically when your free trial period expires, provided Agency AI is still installed on your Shopify store. You'll be billed through Shopify's standard app billing system, which means charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice.

If you uninstall Agency AI before the trial ends, you will not be charged. There is no obligation to continue after the trial.

Billing Cycle

After your trial, Agency AI bills on a monthly cycle through Shopify. Your billing date is determined by when your trial ends, and subsequent charges occur on the same date each month. All billing is managed through Shopify — Agency AI does not process payments directly.

You can view your Agency AI charges in your Shopify admin under Settings > Billing.

Checking Your Trial Status

You can check how much time remains on your trial by opening the Agency AI app in your Shopify admin. Your trial status and remaining days are displayed on the dashboard.

Cancelling Before the Trial Ends

If you decide Agency AI isn't the right fit, simply uninstall the app from your Shopify store before your trial expires and you won't be billed. See our guide: How to Cancel Your Agency AI Subscription.
