Connect Agency AI to Claude MCP

Quick answer

Agency AI is in Claude's connector directory. In Claude, open Settings > Connectors > Browse connectors, search for "Agency AI", click Connect and sign in. Takes about a minute and works on every Claude plan.

Once connected, Claude can analyze your Meta and Google accounts and act on them: create Meta ads, pause or turn on campaigns, ad sets and ads, change daily budgets and Google target ROAS, and run reports on a schedule.

What you need

An Agency AI account with at least one ad account connected. Either the Shopify app (install guide) or the MCP plan if you don't use Shopify.
Claude on the web or desktop app. No specific Claude plan required.

The connector is included in your Agency AI plan.

Setup

Open Claude on the web or the desktop app.
Open Settings, then Connectors.
Click Browse connectors and search for "Agency AI".
Click Connect.
Sign in with your Agency AI account (Shopify sign-in for app subscribers, email and password for MCP plan accounts) and approve access.
In a chat, click + in the message box, open Connectors and make sure Agency AI is switched on.

No server URL needed for Claude.

Claude can't use an image you attach in the chat. Add it to your Asset Library in the Agency AI app first, then point Claude at it. MCP plan accounts build new ads from an existing ad instead. Claude can rename and pause existing ads but can't edit their copy. For new copy, ask for a new ad with new copy.

Claude asks you to confirm each change. Once you confirm, it runs in your live ad account. There is no Approve card. A scheduled task runs without asking, so give it exact thresholds. The full capability list is in What the Agency AI connector can do.

Tips

Name a date range. "Last 14 days" beats "recently".
Say which platform when you only want one.
Ask follow-ups. Claude keeps context, so you can dig into any number it gives you.
Shopify app accounts can ask about store sales, orders and MER as well as ad data.

Troubleshooting

Agency AI isn't on in your chat: click + in the message box, open Connectors and check the toggle. If you never connected, go to Settings > Connectors > Browse connectors.
Claude says it can't access your data: in Claude's Settings > Connectors, disconnect Agency AI and connect it again.
Claude reads data but a platform is missing: that ad account isn't connected in Agency AI, or its token expired. Check Settings (app) or Connections (console). See Reconnecting when your token expires.
See or revoke connected apps: MCP in the AI Dashboard, or MCP setup in the MCP console, lists every app you've connected and lets you revoke access.
